Anyone read the June issue of Mopar Muscle? (http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/techarticles/body/mopp_0906_2008_dodge_charger_rt_hemi_shaker_scoop_ install/index.html)
They did a CDC Shaker install of their new an improved design on a Charger that I found kinda interesting.
First impression was that its not a replica of the old school but rather a modernized design with an old school look.
The new design has a much thinner trim ring and the hole in the hood has a more snug fit around the scoop.
Only 4 Dzus fasteners removes the scoop for oil fill access and the lower base makes a nice engine (http://www.thechargerforum.com/#) cover on both sides. Fresh air is fed into the factory air box.
Just curious what others think about the new design?
