yes you can install them yourself, it will be a big plus though if you can get access to a car lift though (makes it so much easier) - i actually got that information i posted from the TBYRNE Performance LLC (http://thedodgetruckforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=105) website - you can send Tom with Tbyrne (they are one of our supporting vendors) a pm for more information - or even just post up in his section and ask what his suggestions are - I have magnaflow's on my ride but do know some members have the SLP loud mouth's and they do sound awesome

I too would like to change my exhaust and not necessarily for just more noise. I have the R&T exhaust and get this odd moan for a moment when it down shifts, sounds like a bad drone like a wounded whale and I don't like it. Booowaaaa is what it sounds like.
I am wondering if that drone is resonance going on in the suitcase due to its size.

that looks pretty good and price is reasonable - i have magnaflow on my ride, but have heard of flowmaster - let us know what you decide to do, and post up a sound clip when you get the exhaust done :thumbsup:

Went to the shop this morning with it because it has developed a little rattle when it starts and in WOT conditions, I suspected something was loose but it is being cause by backpressure thru the suitcase (which has some debris in it or something is loose in there) so the shop said just bring them the new stuff and he'd just charge me 100 bucks to uninstall/install everything, I think that pretty reasonable. Gotta make up my mind what I want now, hmmm.:rolleyes:

I've also changed a lot on the car since I joined here, I'll post when I'm all done... muhaha

Well I called and ordered the SLP Loudmouth II. I was gonna go for the Loudmouth I but I've heard both systems up close & the Loudmouth is a little loud for my tastes. I was talking with the guy at TByrne about a SRT Grand Cherokee I saw (and heard) which sounded awesome just going down the street. I was driving my work truck so I pulled up alongside and asked him what kinda exhaust, was that stock? He said nope, Loudmouth II, exactly what I want. His was a Hemi too. Anyways, set me back about $650 but I'm really looking forward to the upgrade, having it shipped right to the shop and they gonna call me when it's time to put it in. btw, that flowmaster that was posted is a good system and I agree good price... but they want $65 to ship it. TByrne was $10. Enough said.

I'm changing out my grill while I wait, I'm getting old lol, a lil sore and scrapped up my finger but this gonna look much better when I get it done.
