It is available in Loud Mouth? and Loud Mouth II? designs. Thanks to the modular design, either resonators or mufflers can be ordered individually and interchanged seperately. They feature: stainless steel, mandrel-bent 2.5" tubing; polished Loud Mouth resonators and Loud Mouth II mufflers with SLP's logo embossed in the body; integrated PowerFlo-X Crossover Pipe; double-wall polished tips with SLP's logo; easy, bolt-on installation and SLP's Lifetime Warranty. All hardware and Installation instructions are included. silvernblack 04-14-2009, 10:45 PM so I can order these from somewhere & have it installed at my local shop? silvernblack 04-14-2009, 10:49 PM Found a good install guide http://www.slponline.com/inst/D31000.pdf looks like I could do it myself, hmm. silvernblack 04-14-2009, 10:51 PM ....is there a vendor on the forums here I should contact? ps where is the edit button, lol. geteurdone 04-14-2009, 10:58 PM yes you can install them yourself, it will be a big plus though if you can get access to a car lift though (makes it so much easier) - i actually got that information i posted from the TBYRNE Performance LLC (http://thedodgetruckforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=105) website - you can send Tom with Tbyrne (they are one of our supporting vendors) a pm for more information - or even just post up in his section and ask what his suggestions are - I have magnaflow's on my ride but do know some members have the SLP loud mouth's and they do sound awesome Matt400 05-09-2009, 09:05 PM Dunno if its the best but for your price range seems like the only thing is BlastinBob (http://www.blastinbob.com/category_s/2.htm) I too would like to change my exhaust and not necessarily for just more noise. I have the R&T exhaust and get this odd moan for a moment when it down shifts, sounds like a bad drone like a wounded whale and I don't like it. Booowaaaa is what it sounds like. I am wondering if that drone is resonance going on in the suitcase due to its size. Matt400 05-29-2009, 06:40 PM got sum $$ comin from tax refunds, wanna up my stock exhaust, what would the charger gods say is my best options? i'll hang up and listen 4 my answer :) Here is another option I been looking at: http://www.moparsupercenter.com/flowmaster-force-ii-system-tuned-exhaust-systems-17405k-17405k-.html?cat=160 geteurdone 05-30-2009, 12:27 AM Here is another option I been looking at: http://www.moparsupercenter.com/flowmaster-force-ii-system-tuned-exhaust-systems-17405k-17405k-.html?cat=160 that looks pretty good and price is reasonable - i have magnaflow on my ride, but have heard of flowmaster - let us know what you decide to do, and post up a sound clip when you get the exhaust done  silvernblack 05-30-2009, 06:35 PM Went to the shop this morning with it because it has developed a little rattle when it starts and in WOT conditions, I suspected something was loose but it is being cause by backpressure thru the suitcase (which has some debris in it or something is loose in there) so the shop said just bring them the new stuff and he'd just charge me 100 bucks to uninstall/install everything, I think that pretty reasonable. Gotta make up my mind what I want now, hmmm. I've also changed a lot on the car since I joined here, I'll post when I'm all done... muhaha geteurdone 05-30-2009, 09:46 PM that is a great price and looking forward to reading and don't forget pics on all that you have done :thumbsup::thumbsup: silvernblack 05-30-2009, 10:56 PM Ugh, tried to give some business to T Byrne and I got 3, count em 3, order confirmations.. praying those don't all go thru  Called and left a message with Nicole that something is wrong, have to call 1st thing Monday, what time they open CST? Anyone know? Oh godddddddd why meeeee geteurdone 05-31-2009, 12:27 AM i would say nine am, so that would be a hour earlier for central time (8:00 am) - i would also send Tom with Tbyrne a pm about it also - he's pretty good about responding to pm's silvernblack 06-01-2009, 03:19 PM Well I called and ordered the SLP Loudmouth II. I was gonna go for the Loudmouth I but I've heard both systems up close & the Loudmouth is a little loud for my tastes. I was talking with the guy at TByrne about a SRT Grand Cherokee I saw (and heard) which sounded awesome just going down the street. I was driving my work truck so I pulled up alongside and asked him what kinda exhaust, was that stock? He said nope, Loudmouth II, exactly what I want. His was a Hemi too. Anyways, set me back about $650 but I'm really looking forward to the upgrade, having it shipped right to the shop and they gonna call me when it's time to put it in. Thanks for the help here. btw, that flowmaster that was posted is a good system and I agree good price... but they want $65 to ship it. TByrne was $10. Enough said. geteurdone 06-01-2009, 03:51 PM  kewl and wtg on the exhaust - post up a short vid when you get it on if you can so we can all hear that awesome sound :rockon: geteurdone 06-01-2009, 03:54 PM BTW did you get all those order confirmations straight :idunno: silvernblack 06-01-2009, 04:13 PM Ya, he said they got my message, didn't go thru anyways. I'm changing out my grill while I wait, I'm getting old lol, a lil sore and scrapped up my finger but this gonna look much better when I get it done. I'll have to post some pics up :) |
