My friends and I have for the most part raced early model Mustangs, as it would only be, one of the cars is still around since the early eighties.

1969 Mustang Fastback. Oh by the way it is UPBADGED with all of the interior and exterior Mach 1 makeup.

Back in the day my 70 Mach 1 killed this car on many occasions.

Which brings us to modern times.

Drinking a few cold ones and putting the Clone back together as it is undergoing it's third frame off. My Charger sitting in the drive, a neighbor visits to see what all of he fuss is about after hearing a monsterous cam.

He sets teh race up after looking at the sheetmetal on both cars and blurts out just how bad that Charger will run down the Stang. Aftere a laugh or two from us he was offended.

Hell I heard that Charger when it pulled up, there ain't no way in hell this Stang can catch it.

Yeah well I won that race with the big bad 2.7. Cause with no tires on the Stang he didn't have a chance.

Little did the neighbor know, waht he heard is that night mare of a horse. SVO designed 500+CI Cobra Jet. Not your average crate motor.

See the friend who owns this bad boy is loaded with the dough. He has a friend at Ford SVO who is an engineer. They developed and blueprinted this 800 horse beast.

The car is near completion and I will challenge him for a run. I get to call the race. How about 150 miles, one tank of gas, and first to arive gets the pinks. Oh by the way the stang only has a 10 gallon fuel cell.

Yeah I will try to take some if the weather clears up on Sunday.

This weather sucks. I have a couple of quick picks of my Charger I took before the rain hit. Been wanting to post up since I got her back last Friday.

Had teh Trufiber SRT hood prepped, painted and installed.

Makes a world of difference in the car. Hiding a little mod money from the wife. Likely next week will have the windows tinted.

You reckon she'll notice?

It might take her a day or two but :angryfire:! Oh well can't undo what will have been done.

If this weather would just cooperate I ll get some pics up.
