I see a lot of handles I recognize amongst this group, I'll be in touch with most of you as soon as I can.
In the meantime for those that don't recognize my handle, I'm Ed. My wife is the primary operator of our 2007 Sublime Daytona. We drove it home from the dealership I manage in Jan of 2007. We've done some mild mods to include, Mopar CAI, JBA Shorty Headers, Borla Dual Exhaust, R1 Concept's Drilled and Slotted rotors and pads, Eibach Pro Kit Lowering Springs and Alignment Kit, SuperChip Tuner, custom floor mats, and as much tint as the state of Virginia will allow.
We've had it to a few shows and several meet and greets. I've run down the middle of a couple of dragstrips and to date my best time is a 14.06 @ 101.2 in the 1/4. I've won a few and lost a few but have never made it to the final round.
The car is now approaching 2 years and has over 40,000 miles, the wife absolutely loves driving the damn thing. We've never had any mechanical issues.
I've been so jealous of her having all the fun that I've taken to driving a 2007 Chrysler 300 SRT. (I don't own it, it's my company car. Yes, despite the slow times in car sales, you gotta love a job where you get to drive a car that nice.)
If you ever have questions about how things work with our manufacturer or how things work at a dealership let me know. I won't be able to help you make great car deals and I won't be able to fix the lousy service that some dealerships give you but if you think you're really be jerked around or told a big fat lie, let me know I may be able to supply some insight.
Lastly, before you ask, yes some of the characters you see on "The" forum bought their cars from me and I've tried to take good care of them since the first minute we met.:D
