I had been toying with this for sometime now tryin to decide if I wanted to go this route or not. I finally bought a cheap kit to see if I would like it or not before I drop $250 for the expensive kit and maybe not like it. The kit only cost me $24.99 and it really dosen't look that bad but best of all it gave me the idea of what it would look like for a very reasonable price.

Now before you see the pics keep in mind that my car is all black and tinted very dark on the outside the way I like it but I wanted something different for the Interior so that when you opened the door it really "Popped". So this is what I came up with and I really like the look myself. Now I am sure there will be different opinions out there but that is what the forum is all about! Good or Bad does not matter to me cause lastly "I" am the one that has the final say.

Enjoy the pics..........

I got it from www.rvinyl.com (http://www.rvinyl.com) it is a very thin vinyl and is thin and tough to put on. But if you take your time and do them prep work right it actually looks really good for the price. The one I want to get is the Kit from Wood Dash Experts that is really nice but cost about $250 too.

Hopefully it's cool I posted the site Tom if not sorry about that.

i was wondering about them ive seen their stuff on ebay and was thinking about going that route myself. Saw one post elswhere that the kit section over the glovebox came in acouple of pieces and that there was alot of trimming work to do.how did you find it was it a moderate install? or was there alot of trimming and grunt work to do? You can tell you took your time with it it looks great :) just dont know if i can be that patient lol

Actually my kit was cut very well Smoke got a kit too and they did a bad job of cutting his and I told him I would have sent it back but he figured for the price he wouldn't bother and then he bought the Wood Dash Kit for his birthday. He wanted the Brushed Aluminum Kit and it just dosen't look good on vinyl I mean common you can only make it look so good but the color kits I have seen a couple of them besides mine and they where good.

You just have to make sure you wipe down your dash and prep it well before you go to install it. Also keep a couple of razor blades and I had a long retrackable exacto knife to help me put it on cause you don't want to handle it with your fingers too much. If you take your time it can look pretty decent especially for the money. I get alot of compliments on mine.

As far as the Big Dash pieces they are strange the way they cut them but mine came out good just look at them first before you put them on if you get the kit and you can trim it a different way to make it easier to install very easally.

looks awesome my friend - just think the glove box could use something on it, to take away from the red there - like a saying or something (user name, charger, or something) - and yes it is perfectly alright to post the website up, especially to help members out my man - ride looks awesome and well done :thumbsup:

OKay thanks guys even though this is my section guess I really didn't know the policy there. Good to know now cause you know everyone is different so glad to have that cleared up.

Yeah like I said this kit was just a trial to see if I liked it but now that I do Wood Dash Kit is soon to come as soon as I can afford it.

Thanks for the comments!
